Just been given a copy of "Two Ships" by R F MacLeod ... the work of the BP Tanker Company seen through two voyages by two vessels plying the international oil trade.

It covers the British Respect & British Avon over a 2 day similar period....one going from Grain and one bound for Europoort.

Anyone else seen/got a copy?

I have never seen this one before, it appears to be dated 1977.

Tried searching for this on Abebooks but came up with nothing. Would be interested in reading it. Do you have an ISBN number?

Hi John

I am not sure if it was just a Fleet issue, not available elsewhere.
It was published by the BP Tanker Company Limited, Brit House etc ... and printed in England by Whitton Print Services.
The book was designed & typography done by Roy Walker MSIAD.
The only other info on the inside page is 10M.5.77 .. which I am assuming is the publication date.

Cover picture shows a Deck Cadet hoisting the BP house flag up the mainmast, with the Red Ensign already flying!
