Kava Sound Confusion
I was mate on the Kava Sound for a short while in 1983. Looking at the various photo's on this site it looks as though there were at least 2 Kava Sound's?
The Kava Sound I was on had wooden hatches with Canvas and a rounded stern. There are several pictures of another Kava Sound with very square looking lines and Mcgregor hatches. Can anyone clarify? Rgds Tim phillips

Tim, I would imagine that the ship you were on would be the old Singapore registered KAVA SOUND the one with the roundy stern, ( union star) Pics in the Shetland museum site.
