Jimmy"Pudding"Walsh "Port Melbourne"

Barely three weeks ago I posted a request for information regarding my uncle Jimmy Walsh who sailed with Port Line, I had very little information to go on, but now three weeks later I have the full story and I would like to thank those who pointed me in the right direction so I could carry on my research.According to the Hobart Coroners Office Jimmy died by drowning 15/11/58 by falling off the Hobart Wharves (intoxicated). He was a member of the crew of M.V. Port Melbourne. Thanks to the kindness of a lady in the Hobart Coroners Office I know he was buried in Cornelian Bay Cemetery D Section No 339, so I can arrange to have a floral tribute placed on his grave. The Coroners Office is also sending me affidavits of witnesses, if any are Port Line crew I will publish them in the hope someone might remember them although it's a long shot after 50 years!
