TSAC - Jolie Brise crew experiencing lows, soaking & phosphorescent

Quote:
The crew of Jolie Brise have been experiencing some wet and windy weather over the past 24 hours. Here they share some of the highs and lows with us:

“The Atlantic is not failing to continue to surprise us with ever changing weather conditions. It started off yesterday evening with some perfect sailing with 8 to 9 knots of boat speed. We were then hit by a cold front which we were trying to get round the south of. This cold front developed into a trough, and this lead to loads of rain, as well as wind shifts of 180 degrees, lightning that illuminated the entire and extremely variable wind strengths. This led us to find a somewhat bemused bird during one of the tacks, which was cowering under the anchor. The rain this morning allowed some of us to have showers on deck.
