dredgers

I am trying to find out some information/technical description/sketch and ultimate faith of a dredger constructed by Simons of Renfrew for the LNWR or the Irish Northwestern Railway in or about 1862/63. Thr dredger was used to dredge the deepwater channel at the entrance to Carlingfoed Lough. Apart from a brief description of it in a presentation to the Institute of Civil Engineers I can find no other information. Any guidance to where I can locate source information would be welcome.
