Watts Watts in WW2

My Uncle Len Argue was with Watts Watts during WW2. He started as an apprentice and ended up as a first mate. He was on the Dartford (Jan 1940 to Sept 1940), Twickenham (Oct 1940 to June 1943), Chertsey (November 1943 to April 1945) and Chiswick (May 1945 to October 1945). Does anyone have any photos of these ships or the crews? Does anyone have a list of the ports that he would have visited during these years? Any actions they were in?

Twickenham was damaged by torpedo on the 15th July 1943. The original posting states he was only on the ship up until June 1943.

SS Dartford

Hello, I can extend the note of trips made by the Dartford in WWII.

She sailed from Cardiff on 3 August 1939 and went to the River Plate returning to Cardiff on 19 December 1939. The unescorted voyage home was haunted by the fear of the Graf Spee appearing over the horizon!
