Hoveringham I / Bowmore
Hi
After the the Hoveringham I grounded in the Bristol Channel in 1994 she was laid up in Cardiff's Roath Dock before being sold later in that year at which time she was renamed Bowmore. . She was repaired at Sharpness in October 1995 but apparently then returned to Barry where she laid up. On 21st October 1996, by then owned by Greek owners and named Aeolos, she departed the Bristol Channel for the Mediterranean. Question: Does anybody know who purchased her / named her Bowmore? Question: Can anybody remember her trading as an aggregate dredger under the name Bowmore? |
