Recent Ex Lifeboats in Portishead
Portishead is currently the permanent home for several Ex RNLI Lifeboats, Our Arun Mabel Alice runs regular trips from Portishead, Douglas Currie is a resident as is The Pentland, however recently we held a gathering of Ex RNLI Boats including The Always Ready Ex Runswick and Staiths single Screw Liverpool Class, Nellie and Charlie Ex Anstruther single screw Liverpool Class, and the Chieftain Ex Barmouth Twin Screw Liverpool. we made a passage from Portishead to Cardiff Bay and then to Penarth.
