Can you identify this sailing ship for me pse.

The two photos show this sailing ship preparing for sea. I took the photo in either Molmo or Gothenborg in the mid 70's. Can any member identify it for me as I am unable to read her name on the bow.

Thanks

I am pretty certain it is the Norwegian "Christian Radich"
built 1937 at Framnaes Mek., Sandefjord.
GRT 696
loa 72.50 metres, breadth 9.70 metres, draft 4.50 metres.
Sail area 1234 sq. m.
Homeport: Oslo.

Hereby a photo which I took in Amsterdam July 1974

Blair,

Dicamus just posted a picture in the gallery of the "Christian Radich".
It certainly is the ship you are looking for.
I still have a b/w photo too, in case you are interested.

Sailing ship identification

Thanks for the info. There is a name on the bow but could not read it. They are great looking ships.

Ahoy,

Just for all those sailing ship lovers, I found this one at a Russian site, so I couldn't read the source, but if anyone claims it, I apologize for using it.But a great shot of the Christian Radich
