hello to all x esso seaman im BOBBY MOORE i worked for esso from 1976-86 served on Mercia 3/7/76-11/11/76,Anglia 4/1/77-26/4/77 Warwickshire 12/6/77-25/6/77(painting gang),Warwickshire 29/11/77-12/3/78,Clyde (3 trips back to back)2/5/78-11/6/79),Purfleet(2 trips back to back)20/9/79-23/4/80,Milfordhaven 4/7/80-30/9/80,Fawley 23/11/80-14/2/81(2 trips back to back)24/3/81-23/10/81,Fawley 19/12/81-23/3/82,Purfleet 26/4/82-5/8/82,Cardiff 18/9/82-8/12/82,Tyne 4/2/83-12/5/83,Severn 11/7/83-28/9/83,Forth 12/11/83-10/2/84,Humber 25/3/84-18/6/84,Clyde 2/8/84-1/11/84,Penzance 12/1/84-27/2/85,Avon(2 trips back to back)23/3/85-12/6/85,Plymouth(4 trips back to back)2/7/85-7/2/86.Thats the 10 years i spent with esso.Left there worked ashore for awhile intermingeld with shiping agency work got fed up with that then got a job with RFA.Im now retired n takeing it easy,so if theres any one out there who remembers me get in touch,look forward to swaping tales.

I do believe I sailed with you on the Esso Forth, Are you short like me! 5' 5" and come from Liverpool? My name is Trevor Geoge and my nick name was "Diesel" I was a Motorman but previously a Mechanic.

Diesel(Trevor)i cant remember if i answerd you or not ive had a fair bit of bother with comp so sorry this is a late reply or if im repeating myself.Was that the trip DavyMountain (A/B)and Tommy Ecelston (chief cook)was on and we got smashed up a bit in Lymebay,also when we left Sulomvoe we developed engine probs so we could watch the last episode of Aufvedersen Pet soon as it was finished engine was ok n we carried on to Norway.
