What is the Difference?
How can the US Navy continue to build comparatively large numbers (In size and number) of ships, when they appear to be in dire financial straits, whilst the UK. Although admittedly in similar difficulties, can at best, afford only to scrap ships, or lay them up until they rust away?

They just borrow another few trillion bucks, but now at a higher interest rate!!
