Vigo
Hi all - I am a new member to the site, my interest being sparked by our local Church War Memorial of all things. There is a name on the list - Arnold Wilkinson - whom I have subsequently discovered was a wireless operator serving aboard the Vigo. He apparently died on board on 29 April 1918 and was buried at sea the following day, is there a photo of the Vigo anywhere please to assist my resarch as I have one of Mr Wilkinson himself? Because it appears he was not a victim of hostilities his is not listed oin the Commonwealth War garve list.
Any help much appreciated!! |
