Looking for photo - S.S. Winsor - Collier
Would any member have a photo of the S.S. Winsor circa 1962. Owned by the
North Thames Gas Board it plied between the northeast coast - ports from Hartlepool to the Tyne down to Beckton on the Thames. Would greatly appreciate a copy. Regards Denis |

Hi Nigel,
Thanks a lot for that photo - I've tried numerous websites without success until I was told about SN and signed on. That was the last photo I needed to make up an album of the ships I sailed on. This will be my 2nd msg to you - wasn't the first one about staflo ? Greatly appreciate your help with this and browsing thru the forums it's great to see how helpful everbody is. It's a great site. Thanks again Best wishes Denis |

I have a very elderly neighbour who sailed on SS Winsor in W.W. II when new. He will be delighted with a copy of your picture. During early years she was owned by (Westminster) Gas Light & Coke Co. (Frederick Winsor being the founder). She had a sister ship from Burntisland shipyard called Flamma. Anyone have a picture of her ?
