I believe the Amie Guadreau was owned and operated by Irving Oil, Saint John NB. She coasted around the Eastern Canadian seaboard.

Certainly not a ghost ship, used to see her regularly around the east coast in the sixties and seventies. I think, but am not sure, that she was sold to Metro Oil of New Brunswick who operated a chain of discount gas stations in the Maritimes in late 70's early 80's.
There are a couple of ex Irving/St. John Shipyard members on the list who would probably have more details.

Sorry to be late catching up with you. I sailed as Chief on the Aime in 1990 she was still with Irving Oil ( Kent Line ) then. Have some pictures I could look out if you still want them.
