s.s. Rotterdam in Wilhelmshaven - photos
On 16 and 17 November 2006, representatives of the Urban Design and Public
Housing Department of the Municipality of Rotterdam, the Municipal Public Works Department and the Rotterdam Development Corporation were invited by De Rotterdam BV to visit the ship in Wilhelmshaven and witnessed the work in progress. Mr. Onnie Tjia of the Urban Design and Public Housing Department, was so kind to provide some photos he made during the visit. He also witnessed that the bags with asbestos waste ( the so-called Gibraltar-bags) were transported to the cargo-ship CELICA. These photos can be viewed on my website within the chapter: s.s.
