Hello All,
Recently retired Sheltie Just discovered this site and looking forward to tracking down old shipmates from my days since joining Denholms and the old Clarkavon as deck cadet in 1962.

A warm welcome to the site from another ex Denholm man on Anglesey.
I guarantee you will thoroughly enjoy the SN experience!
You will certainly spark many happy memories when you have a chance to explore our threads and, who knows, you may even re-establish contact with old shipmates.
Good luck! (Thumb)

Hello Tom, being an ex Ben Line man it seemed to me that all shelties were seamen at one time or another, great bunch of people. I hope you enjoy the site.

Welcome to SN ,Ray. I`m sure you will enjoy trawling through the past.
I remember the old Clarkavon days well, and all that went with life on the ore carriers , Port Talbot, Irlam, Workington etc. Bad weather, Lochmaddy crews and white bosuns,Great wee ships and great shipmates and lots of happy memories. Regards, Tommy
