Just to introduce myself - I was directed to this site by Mick Spear, we were colleagues prior to my own retirement in 1999. I spent nine years in the Royal Navy from 1959 to 1968. Thoroughly enjoyed my time, and was stationed in the Far East, the Caribbean and the Meddy. I then joined the Royal Fleet Auxiliary Service as a "Writer" as we were then called. Served in most classes of RFA in most parts of the world, and retired in 1999 as a First Officer (Supply). I now live in Nonthaburi, Thailand. Seems like a most interesting site.

John, a warm welcome to you. Thank you for joining the community; enjoy the site and all it has to offer and we very much look forward to your postings. Looking at your location flag and that fact that you are in Thailand, makes me wonder if you hit the wrong button and got the next "T" as you appear as Tonga? - In any event, Bon Voyage.

Good luck! (Thumb)
