Hello everybody
I am trying to find out about the BP Enterprise built at Newcastle State Dockyard in 1968

Welcome to the site Geyerj1,
The BP Enterprise was launched on May 10th 1968 & completed in July of that year by the New South Wales Government & Engineering Undertaking State Dockyard, Newcastle, NSW. for BP Tankers Australia Pty, Australian registry. On completion she was transferred to the BP Tanker Co. Ltd. In 1976 the Adelaide Steamship Co. Ltd. were appointed as managers. In 1989 she was sold to Redford Investments Inc (Harry Borthen & Co., A/S managers) of Liberia & renamed Liv Cob. In 1993 she was again sold to Piebald International Ltd., of Liberia (same managers). Some time prior to December 31st 1995 she arrived at Alang for demolition.

MT BP Enterprise 13185 tons built as above. 170.85 x 22.46 x 9.405.
6 cylinder 2sa Sulzer of 7500 bhp (5517kw) 2 generators @ 550kw and 1 x 200kw. 415v 50 hz ac. Speed 14knts. DF, ESD,Gc,Rdr, RTv. code flags VJCT.Registered Newcastle NSW. Oz flag.
