Welcome, a long time ago but can you remember the brace winch setup on Pamir? Were the 3 drums set to the lower yards only ie course yards and lower and upper tops'l yards, or 1st 3rd and 5th ie course, upper tops'l and upper t'gallant yards, towing the unattached yards round by the sail leech having cast off their weather braces?
