M V Temple Main

Hi everyone need some help for my family tree please, does anyone have any information about the Temple Main, or sail on her in 1955-1964?

Temple Main Built By Caledon at Dundee and launched 22.11.57
Changed name to Irini in 1969 then Spirit in 1984. Broken up at Gadani Beach on 08.06.84

Ahoy Sheila,
TEMPLE MAIN 04-1958
8,005 tons gross.
This single-screw cargo motorship was been handed over to the Temple Steamship Co.Ltd by the Caledon Shipbuilding & Engineering Co.Ltd.
Her principal particulars were: length 458'3" breadth moulded 58'6", depth to shelterdeck 37'9" and draught 26'11".
She carried a DWT of 19,405 tons of a load draught of 26'11".
Her propelling machinery, constructed by Vickers-Armstrong,Barrow, consisted of a Doxford diesel 2SA 4Cy. 600x2320mm developing 3,300 bhp at about 108 r.p.m. and giving her a service speed of 12 knots.The ship had three bipod masts.

Yes I sailed on the Temple Main in 1962, it was my first trip, who is it you know that sailed on the Temple Main.

I joind the temple main in south shields in 1962 we had a colligan in the missisippi and was in dry dock for 5 weeks then we sailed to new Zealand then to aus but I cant remember where we came home to would love to find out where we docked by the way I was 4 th engineer what a great ship the chief engineer was mr Crosby great block
