Golfito 1950 and Matina 1950

My mum recently passed away and I have been scanning her old photographs. She travelled to and from Trinidad- UK on the Golfito and Matina in 1950.
There are some photographs of officers which may be of interest for people tracing family. Let me know if anyone is interested. The photos are mostly labelled with first names and are black and white - not wonderful quality.

I'm sure that scans of your pics would be very welcome in The Gallery
In the meantime, some pics of Matina and Golfito already there:

Basil, I'm intrigued ? That shot of the Golly was either taken from ashore, or you must have been off watch shooting it from another incoming vessel, was it the Matina ? Don't ever recall the Matina going on the Trinidad run do you ? The Cavina did in 1950's early part

A.J.McMahon, It's in Port Antonio in Jamaica and ISTR I took it from Matina as we lay anchored off.
I liked going 'around the island'; bit more friendly and relaxed than Kingston or Montego Bay.

I'm not sure how your gallery works. Do I load from my desktop directly or from an online photo storage site? Also what category would I upload under?

Never mind - sorted
