Just introduce myself : my name is Roger Northcote and I was a Purser with the British India Line from 1966-1972, and then served in RFA followed by a stint with various tramping Company's. I left the MN in 1980 due to ill health and am presently retired. Whilst with BI I served on passenger and cargo/passenger ships : "Uganda" (on East African service), "Devonia", "Canara", "Chakdara", "Chindwara", "Nevasa", "Morvada" and "Waipara".
