Royal Navy At War In Colour Dvd

My wife gave me the DVD and I can thoroughly recommend it. It has amazing colour film, taken (illegally) at sea by a very few who had cine-cameras. Some film was censored, while some got away without it being cut.

There are some wonderful shots taken of wartime convoys, which include the excellent footage of Merchant Navy ships at sea. The convoys to South Africa are particularly well documented. Some rare footage of ships such as HMS BULOLO, built as mv Bulolo in 1938 for the Burns, Philp Shipping Co of Australia.

The DVD was created by the late Roland R Smith, who has done a very good job of work with this one.

Available from Amazon UK, for those interested.
