Can any one help me trace a ship called Bulk Eagle, 17,000ton bulk carrier operated by Gearbulk. I sailed in her in January 1971 when she was a new ship and I would like to know her fate.

Peter,

A warm welcome to the site from the Isle of Anglesey, I guarantee you will thoroughly enjoy the SN experience!
You will certainly spark many happy memories when you have a chance to explore our threads and, who knows, you may even re-establish contact with old shipmates.
Good luck! (Thumb)

Hope you travel far and wide here with us on this wonderfull site, its not always plain sailing, but the Rough rides are sometimes worth the time and effort.
Mostly though you will find the passage fine and smooth.
Enjoy

High Peter, welcome aboard.

Am I right in thinking that Gearbulk was connected with Buries Markes. you might get the info you are after on 'lahaciendaandotherstories'.

I was with BM for a few years, '63-'66.
