Coe Fletcher shipping

Greetings from Australia everyone. I have been trying to find my Coe Shipping connection for years and was delighted after keying in Coe Liverpool last night to find this Forum and the names of Coe ships that were familiar to me through info given to me by my Father- a Fletcher and a Seaman all his working life. My Mother was a Coe connected to the Coe shipping Line. Her Dad Frederick W. Coe served in the Navy until the early 1900s. According to my Dad one of his ships was called Waterwitch. Not sure if it was a Coe Line ship. I'm 75 and a keen genealogist. My Coe connection goes back to Captain William Hilton Hovell RN who came out to Australia in the early 1800s and became a famous explorer with his friend Hume. I don't think I can help with your excellent web site but I just wanted to let you know I was surprised and very pleased to find you! If I do find anything that may be of interest i will post it. Many thanks!
