A P Merit

Hello from Belfast.

This group came highly recommended by TridentPort, a senior member of the group and one with much greater experience and knowledge of the Port of Belfast than I.

However, I've been photographing about the docks here for about 8 years and hope I can add some photographs of interest occasionally.

This photo of A P MERIT in Belfast's Pollock Dock, in November 2003, was taken shortly before she was taken round to the shipyard for extensive repairs, presumably after a thorough MCA inspection and subsequent detention.

She was, not long after, sold to Bangladesh for scrap and demolished there in 2004.

Bye for now.
