Researching Sailing Ships 1800 to 1900

Hllo,
I am researching coastal sailing ships of the North Sea ports that sailed from the small Wash port of Spalding during the 1800's. I would be intested to meet anyone else with the same interest from any of the other ports from Newcastle to London and further afield with a view to sharing information. Keen to find any old photo's, postcards etc of sailingvessels from this time.
Kind regards
Keith

Welcome aboard from East Yorkshire, Keith.
You're in good company with this crew, most of us have a love of sailing ships from that period.
Explore the ship, you never know what you'll find.
Enjoy the voyage.

Keith,

Welcome aboard. An excellent book on the trade which includes the smaller ports the colliers visited is COLLIER BRIGS (FINCH 1973).
