HI. Thought good way to try to get in touch with some old buddies. Started in shipping in the mid 70's as a deck cadet with P&O and spent a few years with Geest on the reefers out of Barry to West Indies, Then to South Africa in agency and with IVS. Then London and Hong Kong in commodity trading and now working as a dry cargo shipbroker in Bangkok.

Hello Peter,
Welcome to the site - I'm sure you'll find loads to interest you. I'm often in Bangkok, also staying in Soi Yii Sip ! You seem to be somewhere near Seacon Square, if I'm orientated correctly. If you have to commute along Sukhumvit, I don't envy you !
Graham.

thanks for the reply Peter...............

navigating Sukhumvit isnt such a good trip, but at least you are reasonably close to Tesco Lotus.

Welcome to the site Peter. I'm sure you'll meet some old friends here.

Ex Suk Soi 8, Lam Lukka and Phayathai. Moved down south to Nakhonsithammarat around 10 years ago. No regrets at all.

Enjoy the voyage
