Hi, does any one have a passenger list for the Cunard Carmania, Southampton to Canada voyage in September 1965. I'm trying to trace a close family member but i've not had any luck so far. Thanks for reading.

Welcome aboard, Anitag.
Someone in the crew may be able to help or tell you where to look.
Meanwhile find your way around the ship and enjoy the voyage.

Welcome Anitag, good to have you aboard.
It would be best to supply more details of your family member ie. crew or passenger? Were they emigrating or tourist?
I know for a fact that there are a few ex. Carmania crew from 65 or thereabouts active on this site. This place really is a 'mine of info', dig it & see !!

Hi. New to this. Does anyone have a crew list for the Carmania in the 1920s? I'm doing family tree research, and I want to find out how long someone was on the crew. Many thanks

Anitag, I was a junior purser on board the Carmania for the voyage in question.
http://www.olivetreegenealogy.com/ships/ is the best site I can find, although Canadian Immigration Records will not be released for some time due to their privacy laws. In 1965 the passenger bookings were processed both in Liverpool and Southampton, whether Cunard (aka Carnival) in Southampton would have a record, might be worth a try. However you can be reassured that your relative would have had a great time on the ship. I did!
