Greetings shipmates!

I have found the site quite by accident, and, being an ex RN `Matelot', feel that it is an interesting place to spend some time. Bad news is that I live in Scotland, but am off to Kent tomorrow morning for Christmas, so there won't be much time to look around until next weekend at the earliest.

However, this seems like a busy `port' and I look forward to having a look around in the near future.

Briefly, I spent 26 years in the Andrew, joined 1964 at `Ganges', left in 1999 after 3 years in the MOD. In between was Cochrane (twice), HMS London (the Guided Missile Destroyer), Ark Royal IV, 45 Cdo Group, RNH Haslar & Plymouth, Illustrious, and of course the MOD.

See you guys week after next!

Moffatman, from Michigan, a warm welcome to Ships Nostalgia, it's good to have you onboard.
I think you'll enjoy your time spent on SN and be pleasantly surprised at our Naval forums and galleries.

Welcome to the crew, Moffatman.
Plenty of Grey Funnel lads knocking around the ship who you'll probably find as you explore.

A warm welcome to SN from the Isle of Anglesey.
There is every chance that you will meet old shipmates on this site so, have a good look round and join in the banter as much as possible.
Beware, it is addictive! (Thumb)
