Hi everyone

1st February 2009, 21:00
Stumbled across this forum by accident. Tonight I was watching the Antique Roadshow from Dundee. One of the items was a diamond Cartier brooch. It had been given to the contributor's great aunt for launching the MV Clytoneus on 9 April 1948. I decided to look the vessel up on Google which after several attempts brought me to this site. As a long time fan of passenger cruise liners I decided I'd found my home at last.

Chris, from Michigan, a warm welcome to Ships Nostalgia, it's good to have you onboard.
Passenger liners in pictures and stories we have aplenty--I think you'll find hours of enjoyment on SN.

Welcome from Lancashire.
I hope you will enjoy the site.

It has to be said that people find us by various routes but I think The Antiques Roadshow is a first! However you will find many antiques here amongst our members but most are quite presentable after cleaning the varnish and applying a bit of brasso. :)
