Pat Stockbridge passed away on 15th February 2018.
Among the many ships, both steam turbine and motor, in which he had served as Chief Engineer were Golfito, Camito Patuca, Rio Cobre, Manzanares, Mazatec and either Barranca or Bayano the small Gulf of Mexico container ships.

I was Pat's 2nd Engineer on Camito for six voyages 1969 -1971
A great boss.
After the demise of Fyffes as a shipowner Pat transferred to Great White Fleets of Belgium, managers of United Brands/Chiquita.

So sad to hear of Pats passing. I was his 4/E on the Darien when we caught fire after leaving Panarbo. A true gent and teacher.
