Hello To All
My question is I want to know if anyone on this site is interested in lots of memorabilia from the SS Canberra there are photographs from its maiden voyage to Australia all the menus and newspapers from the final cruise a authentic sailors hat from the final cruise sliver plaques issued to the final cruise guests an paint given from the final cruise.
Also a tankard to commemorate the use of the ship in the Falklands war
Issue number 5
we also have menus from the maiden voyage 1961
I am just asking if this is something people on here would be interested in or if they know some where I could try to find a market for them.
Thanks

If no one on site is interested, give them some days to respond, then try specialised maritime memorabilia auction sites which are held in places like London, Liverpool, Hull, Exeter 2 - 4 times a year. If you have the computer skills then the American marine memorabilia and/or auction sites will give you the best returns as they are keen on anything UK maritime related, you will find all details on Google of the various auction houses both in UK and USA

Thanks Billyboy as you can see from my joining date I have voyaged elsewhere, in the meantime walked the gangplank and now walking up the gangway
