Hi to everybody ...

My name is Martin McRobert 57 years young and spent 25 years in the
Royal Navy in communications leaving as a Chief Radio Supervisor in 1988
22 of these informative years was spent on Submarines.

I have just condensed 25 years work into 3 lines ...not bad

Im looking forward to being a member of Ships Nostalgia, not sure if I can
contribute much at the moment ....my early days were spent sitting
on the banks of the River Clyde at Erskine watching a multitude of ships
going about their business alas changed days

Regards for now
Martin

Hi Guys..

Thank you for your kind messages, you will forgive me if I dont answer
all message individually, i,m still finding my sea legs around the site.

I also spent 2 years on an Aircraft Carrier ( A real one, HMS Eagle)
not many people can say they had aircraft landing on their roof !! every day.
Had a wonderful time East of Suez around 1966/67
72 days going up and down the Mozambique Channel stopping oil tankers
was a bit of a drag.

Regards
Martin
