Hi this is the first time i used this site so i hope i am doing o k as you will know i used to be on United Towing i was in the Falklands for 3 years , i have been on most of the Tugs i am in touch with Johnny Noble and Danny Betts i some times i see some of the old faces ,it would be great to talk to any of the old hands i know we are getting on a bit but if there is any one out there who would like the hold chin wag please get in touch

Hi i was wondering if any of out there who served in ww 11 would know about a ship called the Evita ,my partners father was on it during ww11,he sailed to America and all over i know he sailed from Hull for the a Danish company we have tried the Danish Embassy and they say they have no records dating back to ww11.I also tried the Swedish Embassy but they have no records there is only the Norweign Embassy we have not tried but i thought i would try the site see if anyone out there as any infomation anything would be grateful ,cheers
