Hello

I sailed for Bowaters around 1960 to 1964 as an Electrician and served my time in the ship yard of Grayson Rollo and Clover Docks Ltd Birkenhead.

Is there anybody who remembers me? may be not many as I am 70

I sailed on two Bowater ships in the early sixties Nicolas Bowater and the Elizabeth Bowater. Joined the Nicolas in Grayson Rollo Clovers drydock, did a 10 Month 28 day trip on her. I remember the Ch Elecky on her his name was Pickford, he reckoned he was a member of the Pickfords Removers family. I am sure we had a 2nd lecky on her but not sure, if we had I cant recall his name but seem to remember his face, the trip was from Aug 63 to July 64.
On the Elizabeth I cant recall anything about the lecky at all, strange how the old grey matter plays tricks after a number of years.

Hello Ernie
Jimmy Hambley was my father. He was foreman in the fitting shop and retired about 1964 Do you remember the names of any of the boys at that time.
