Welcome aboard from East Yorkshire, Ken.
Plenty of BP lads in the crew so you have a good chance that there's someone you sailed with aboard the ship.
Have a good trip.

Name rings a bell Ken. it has to be the "Sulair", where I was Mate. The skippers were; Trevor Hall? (became a Supt. in Harlow) and Pete Smith. C/E, latterly, was the famous (infamous?) Selwyn Cundy, Sparks was Richard Lodge, 2/E was from N. Ireland, 2nd Mate was Nick Howard.

There were many others but the brain's mince at the moment.

Hi Ken.
I thought that I was tough,after sailing with B.P
out from Swansea way back in the 50s,but your
list of ships leaves mine way off.My first ship was
the British Pioneer, then later on I sailed on the
Resource,Envoy,Hero and the Duke.

Hi Ken
The name is certainly familiar, a few of the ships I have also sailed on but I think it must be North Sea, I joined the Iolair in 86 in the dive maintenance team ex R/O from the fleet, I do know that we have met either ashore some Bp thing but I have a feeling that you sailed on the Iolair as a relief.

Anyway welcome to the sight

regards

My late brother was a chief engineer on some of the tankers.
