Hi Lads,
I was at the Vindi from March 1960 Till May 1960,First ship was the Chulmleigh sailed out of Sunderland and can remember it as if it was yesterday...has to be one of the most exciting moments of my life heading for Africa at such a young age them were the time's,

Welcome aboard,find yourself a comfortable
berth and settle in.I was at the Vindi Nov/Dec.
1952 the to sea until 1959.Let us know when
you went to sea,what ships you sailed on etc
and you will be amazed at the amount of people
out here that will know all about your ships,and
maybe even know you.

Hi Mackem I was there 14th of march to the22nd april 1960
must have crossed paths a few times I take it you were on deck? I was catering from Liverpool went in the boxing ring a few times couldn't wait to sew my buttons down loved it happy days
