Hi. Just a bit of history. Did 6 years RAN late 50ies. Mostly grey funnel
little bit of buff funnel,(hydrographic surveys barrier reef).
Spent most of my working life in WA as a rigger & crane op. I am now
now retired at the bottom of Tas i love it.
I would like to get info on Conway GGM emigrated 5-6-1858 Birkenhead
dock to Melbourne 17-9-1858 Conway did other trips to Aus one i think
to Hobart, was she later TSS Conway ?.
The thread on Sydney inquiry. I knew a Kormeran survivor & two men who
were drafted off Sydney just pryer, all were scathing of Cpt Burnett
(is error of judgement a polite way of saying incompinent ? ).
Yes i hold similar views on Cpt Duncan of Voyager.
Kind Regards.
