Does anyone know anything about the empire parkeston, skuttled in the late 60's or early 70's?

My Dad served as first officer/engineering officer on it. Unfortunately he died in 69 so I can't ask him.

Remember seeing her sailing out of Hawich in I think 1958.
She was carrying troops I think to the continent

Thanks for that information, that sounds right actually, as my father left the sea in 1962 and moved us all down to somerset as he got a post at hinkley point power station that year.
