My name is Roger Morris, a marine painter and old sailor living in New Zealand. I have a web site at http://www.seapainter.com .
I am currently looking for any information on a 600 ton British ship which brought emigrants to the South Island of New Zealand in the 1850's and 60's. Her name was Regina. Can anybody help?

Welcome from Lancashire - I hope you will enjoy the site.

The earliest ship on Miramar by that name is an 1862 cargo ship of around that size but doesn't really fit with your information. Check yourself HERE (http://www.miramarshipindex.org.nz/ship/list).

Welcome aboard from East Yorkshire, Roger.
Find your way around the ship, get to know the crew and have a good voyage.

Hi Killeen welcome to SN
I can only find one reference to a REGINA. 676 tons, arriving at Port Chalmers on the 09/ 11 / 1858, Captains name was Thornton. Unfortunately no mention of passengers
