Just signed on don't have much time right now but wanted to say hello to everyone. I am looking forward to researching some of the old ships I served on and getting to know the site.

All the best from an old tanker pumpman.

Hi Mike, it's a few years since I was last in Seattle. Does it still rain as much?
Welcome to SN. Hope you get a lot of memories and fun .

We just set the second longest streach of continuous rain of 27 days. We haven't seen this much rain since 1953. Needless to say thats that kind of weather we get in the banana belt as its known here. Very mild winters with lots of rain, keeps everything green including the moss that grows everywhere.

I don't mind it at all. I rather have it rain than have to shovel it out of the way.

Thanks for the welcome. I just came into the office for a second to check on the server. I got a error message on my beeper. Won't have time now to chat. Maybe next time.
