I did 9 months on the Tyne Bridge. She was laid up in Greece for some time, I did about 6 months in Greece then onto dry dock and she was sold. I think it was to an Italian company. Wow, brings back memories.

I left the ship just before in Rotterdam.
When you joined the ship in Hamburg it was probably with the captain Gianantonio?

I did 9 months on the Tyne Bridge. She was laid up in Greece for some time, I did about 6 months in Greece then onto dry dock and she was sold. I think it was to an Italian company. Wow, brings back memories.

Yes it does brings back old memories.
The Italian company was Grimaldi Shipping. I sailed with them.

I joined the Tynebridge on the 10th October 1975 in Porvoo Finland, Tank washing all the way to Newport News then out to Japan and Australia, had a great time and signed off in Chiba Japan on the 17th March 1976, Capt Tucker Armstrong was on at the time, Big Bert Shreaves was the Bosun, AB's Billy Yeoman, Geordie Calhoune. had a great trip
