Hi Folks,

I have very recently arranged to go on five-day cruise on the Cylde puffer Vic 32. I found information about her through the internet and this prompted me to look for information and possibly a photograph of a collier that I sailed on for a brief period. Her name was the SS Rogate or maybe Rowgate but I can't find any mention of her at all. Anyone out there know of her or the SS Barford (also a collier).

My main sea-going interests now are the occasional sail in Wisp, a Leisure 17 yacht and the occasional paddle in a sea kayak.

Cheers,

Derek

Derek,

There are photographs of two Rogates here (https://www.shipsnostalgia.com/gallery/search.php?searchid=1291428), presumably yours is the newer of the two. (Thumb)
