Best-selling 1950s singer Patti Page, whose hits include "Tennessee Waltz" and "(How Much Is That) Doggie in the Window," has died in California at 85.

John, that's sad, I had not heard that. Her music brings back memories of my first trips to sea with her songs being about the most popular.

We`ve got How Much etc.on the pub iPod and I vividly remember it on the radio when I was a kid.A shipmate and friend of mine Gordon Kincla could sing it backwards,why?I don`t know.
