hello to all just joined been a sailor for awhile now and was hoping to find some info or pictures for my father as he is a retired sailor and wanted to find out about some of the old ships he use to work on. Two of the ones he is looking for are the MV Canadian Highlander and the MV Phosphore Conveyor

These might be the ones.
id 6716986 built 1967 as THORSDYKE(launched as AMASONE) by Furness.Haverton Hill. grt 29449. 1975 CAPE BRETON HIGHLANDER 1980 CANADIAN HIGHLANDER.1983 CITADEL. scrapped 1994.
id 6928591. built 1969 as MAISONNEUVE PARK by Mitsubishi. Hiroshima. grt 36506. 1983 RICHMOND HILL. scrapped Nantong 1986.
There were 2 mor CANADIAN HIGHLANDERS built 1921 and 1945.

thanks again guys i did find some pics that i was looking for only got one of the canadian highlander as the citadel hill only one that could be found so far hopefully some more will turn up

I have just joined this forum and read your post. I sailed on the Phosphor Conveyor from September 1977 to January 1988. Right after that I believe she was sold. I was First Assistant Engineer and the Chief Engineer was Gordon Park.

I sailed as ChOff on the Phosphore Conveyor when Huntings took over the management in 1978. John Abuelo as Master, Alan Stoker as Chief and Dennis Elstob as 2nd
