Hello Everyone,
Alf Lamey was my grandfather. The "Anita Lamey" was named after my mother. I would love to hear from any of you with stories about Grandad Alf and life on the Lamey Tugs.
Regards and thankyou,
Paul

Hi, Hook,

Everybody on the Mersey knew Lamey Tugs as a most highly respected family firm, always giving excellent service on the river and well-known ashore, in Wirral.

My own most prominent recollection is that Lameys were the last to have all controls repeated on the monkey-island, from where a real tug-boat master could see what was happening!

Delighted to hear from you!
