My name is Ann Quayle

I am the daughter of Charles Malcolm Quayle who worked with P&O.
Also the grand daughter of Charles Malcolm Quayle who sailed with Victoria Drummond and was her friend.
Does anybody have any information about either CMQ s?
Thanks

I sailed on the Blue Funnel Line's Samnesse with a J. Quayle, who may have been Malcolm's son. Aged 49, he was Chief Engineer, and was a large, balding, strong-looking and forceful man who wore glasses. I have a copy of the ship's Articles. It is difficult to read why he was discharged in Lourenco Marques in December, 1946, but I think he had nefritis and was sent home.
