Hello there,
Well heres a fine site to stumble across. Looks like fun.
Made my living (but not my fortune!) and have had a keen interest in the sea starting with joining The Sea Cadet Corps in Guildford, Surrey. Formed part of an honour guard in Trafalgar Square on 21st October 1958. Fixed bayonets and The band of the Royal Marines. No question it was, and remains one of the formative events of my life. Lots of adventures since and a love of all things nautical persists. Lucky me. On Tuesday I was in Greenwich and watched the Parade of Sail pass by and was delighted to find that in this ever changing and increasingly complex and complicated world many young folk have inherited a love of going down to the sea in ships.
Thanks for letting me sign on for this new voyage.
Cheers! Aubrey.

(p.s. photo files of Tuesday too big to post. will try and resize and post later)
