Hi everyone, I am seeking information regarding a former steam ship SS Supernal which was part of the fleet owned by James Westol and co of Sunderland I know it was built in 1873 and after a number of name changes eventually was sold to a Polish shipbreaker in 1929, I am particularly looking for any photographs ,drawings etc of this or similar ship, also my great grandfather William Mullen was a fireman on this boat and was drowned on January 1st 1897 at Aberdeen and would like to hear of any reports concerning his death, the register at the record office of shipping and seamen has only brief information regarding his death,
many thanks
Geoff Jackson
